Warranty Policy

At Doorstep Fix, we strive to deliver top-quality mobile repair services using genuine spare parts and expert technicians. Our warranty policy ensures transparency and reliability with every service performed.

1. Warranty Coverage

Warranty applies from the date of invoice and only for products that are marked as covered under warranty.

a) Mobile Screen Replacement

Warranty Period: 3 months (only on products with warranty).

Covers: Touch not working, automatic ghost touches, screen responsiveness issues due to manufacturing defects.

b) Battery Replacement

Warranty Period: 6 months.

Covers: Manufacturing defects, battery not charging or discharging unusually fast (without external damage or swelling due to misuse).

c) Other Spare Parts (charging ports, speakers, camera modules, etc.)

Warranty Period: 3 months.

Covers: Only manufacturer-related functional issues.

Note: Warranty is valid only for the specific part replaced or repaired by Doorstep Fix. It does not extend to the entire device.

2. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty will not be applicable under the following circumstances:

  • Any kind of accidental, liquid, or physical damage after service.
  • Blank screens, visible lines/spots, or reflector issues on screens after usage.
  • Device shows signs of tampering or is repaired again by unauthorized service centers.
  • Battery issues due to overnight charging, battery swelling, use of third-party or non-OEM chargers/cables.
  • Issues caused by software, apps, or jailbreaking/rooting.
  • Devices transferred/resold after repair (warranty is non-transferable).
  • Subsequent damage due to dropping, mishandling, or external pressure on the screen or battery.
  • Data loss post-repair. (We strongly advise customers to back up their data before submitting the device.)

3. Service & Visit Charges

A minimum service/visit fee of ₹499 will be applicable if:

  • The customer denies repair after diagnosis.
  • The estimated repair cost is not approved.
  • The technician is sent but the service is not completed due to customer reasons.

4. Submission of Replaced Parts

To be eligible for warranty coverage:

  • The faulty parts that were replaced must be handed over to the technician.
  • If not returned, the warranty will be void for that component.

5. Warranty Claim Process

To claim warranty:

Email support@doorstepfix.com with:

  • A short video and photos of the issue.
  • A copy of your invoice.

Our support team will review and respond within 24 to 72 hours.

Warranty support is available only in serviceable areas of Doorstep Fix.

6. Important Notes

  • Always back up your data before sending your device for repair.
  • Warranty is valid only for the original customer and cannot be transferred.
  • Warranty is part-specific, not device-wide.
